Stock In Trade San Francisco

From the guys behind Wreck Room, Stock in Trade serves playful American bar food, like sausage mac & cheese and pork spareribs, in an atmosphere that, fittingly, doesn’t take itself too seriously: porthole mirrors outfit the walls and there’s a half-size bocce ball court in the dining room. The Marina joint also serves a killer brunch with the likes of chimichurri-doused steak and egg sandwich and corned beef hash available to accompany your bottomless bubbles (bellinis or mimosas, plus a delicious pomegranate puree).

The main structure is the .25 inch baseplate with .25 inch plates welded perpendicular to it ( shown in one of the previous photos).. The rest of the pieces are slot construction ( similar to how cardboard slots into slits of other cardboard to make a crate for wine or what ever)…columns first (you see those get bolted to the angle welded to the main base) then flats forwards then back flats for webbing lateral strength ( basically each time the direction is altered the piece stiffens and aligns .. Lastly the front horizontals go on to the whole thing and slide ‘key tabs’ through the whole thing to the very back of the piece, were the last sliver locks it. The details you see are the different places where that happens..
